Billy Brandt
Having spent decades in the music business supporting other
bands and artists, Billy Brandt stands on his own.
Influenced by the likes of Gram Parsons to the Grateful Dead,
Billy Brandt has molded his sound by creating his own unique
guitar picking that creates a haunting melody which stays with

Jill Jack and Billy Brandt
Jill played at the 2007 Downtown Hoedown in May. You can see
her in the intimate setting of our Market pavilion. Jill, with her
soulful voice, has won 18 Detroit Music Awards (Acoustic/Folk,
Country, Pop/Rock) for vocalist, songwriter, album and artist.
Her genre-jumping sound doesn't fit easily into any one format and
keeps her free to write and sing what she wants, "I am a folk
artist and I'm proud of that". Jill can do more than just a
good folk song. She can sing a sweet ballad and rock the place out
too.

John D. Lamb
Singer-songwriter John D. Lamb has spent most of his life in Michigan,
but he writes songs as if he's spent his whole life on the road -
which isn't surprising considering his busy touring schedule. A
tireless performer, Lamb spends quite a bit of time trekking around
the state and nearby areas, continuously winning new fans with his
brand of Midwestern roots rock.

Mark Reitenga
Mark has been playing his
unique brand of folk rock in metro Detroit since 1988. He
has an uncanny ability to create multiple layers of sound with
just an acoustic guitar, microphone and his Boomerang Loop
Recorder, creating a sonic canvas.
Mixing strong singing and
guitar playing, Mark delivers an intimate acoustic live
performance. Fans appreciate his welcome-to-my-living-room
atmosphere and musical storytelling ability.

Bob Monteleone
Catch Bob & his trusty Seagull or Taylor acoustic
guitar. As much as he loves the give & take of other musicians,
playing solo gives Bob the freedom to take off in any direction, any
time. He's more likely to play more Neil Young, Radiohead and other
personal favorites as well as original songs.

Dan Goree
